In order to insure that all members of the club have access to the extensive brewing experience that exists within the club, the Carolina Brewmasters have established a mentoring program.

A “Brew Mentor” is a member of the club that will provide support, instruction and constructive example to anyone that has a brewing related question/problem/concern. So if you have any questions about your brewing process or procedures, please get in touch with one of the mentors listed below.

Mentors have been established to cover the principle aspects of brewing.

Members check the “Members Only” page for Brew Mentor phone numbers.

My favorites are English Bitters and Porters but I also brew Belgian, Scottish, German Wheat, APA, IPA and Barleywine. My primary brewing partner is Marlond Meadows. I don't have refrigeration space to do lager brewing but would enjoy trying a Doppelbock someday. I became a BJCP Judge in 2006. I organized the third Oktoberfest in 2001 - the first year CBM took ownership of the event. I also organized the 2002 event, provided brewer/organizer hospitality in 03, 04, and 05 and I'm leading the overall effort again for 2008.
