  http://hbd.org – Homebrew digest is geared towards lighter homebrewing issues but occasionally has in-depth discussions of particular brewing interests.

  http://www.tastybrew.com/bjcp/test.html – this site will test your knowledge of O.G. (original gravity), F.G. (final gravity), IBU international bittering units), SRM (standard reference method for color) and ABV (alcohol by volume) for various styles of beer.

  http://www.beertown.org – The American Homebrewers Association has a forum for discussing homebrewing issues. Joining the AHA includes issues of Zymurgy magazine. Most of the recommended reading material is available here also.
