2004 Holiday Party Pat and Bruno Wichnoski held their annual December bash on Saturday the 11th and it was easily the best one yet! At one point Bruno estimated that there were 60 members and their guests in attendance! The food was great and the beer, well, what can you say. The last beers were consumed somewhere around 6 a.m.!! Food highlights included a wonderful turkey purchased from Reid’s Market, a two grain fresh baked bread supplied by Jason Teeter and vegetarian chili made by Sara Siedel as well as countless other homemade items. Beer highlights included a vertical tasting of Anchor Christmas beers supplied by Bill Lynch and Ed Shumacher, a magnum of Oaked Arrogant Bastard supplied by the club (thanks to Tony Profera’s Virginia road trip), a great selection of homebrews provided by many members as well as Belgians and high gravity beers too numerous to list. A big thank you to Pat and Bruno for hosting a group as large as the Carolina Brewmasters and to all the members who contributed food and beer to what has become a legendary annual affair. The Prez, Bill Lynch
