Carolina Brewmasters Club Meeting

December 7, 2005

President

·         The next meeting will be held at the Mellow Mushroom on North Davidson Street at 6:30 on Wednesday January 4, 2006

·         2006 dues are due.  The best $15 you’ll ever spend.  As in the past, payment is due by the March meeting otherwise you’ll be dropped from the roster

·         Wayne Fricke presented a check to a representative of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in the amount of $8500.00, proceeds from the Oktoberfest.  We have also donated the same amount to the NoDa Neighborhood Association.  We should be proud that we are able to provide charitable organizations with this amount of money.

·         A large number of beers were brewed by members in November

·         Elections of 2006 officers took place with the following members elected:

o       President – Todd Bowman

o       VP Oktoberfest – Wayne Fricke

o       VP Competitions – Bill Lynch

o       VP Social Activities – Justin Mitchell

o       VP Education – Mike Ruff

o       VP Recruiting – Ben Dolphens

o       Secretary/Treasurer – Felton Dengler

  • Finally, I would like to sincerely thank all of the officers and committee members that I had the privilege of serving with over the last two years of my presidency.
