February
Meeting
Near 80 people attended the February meeting with Wayne
Smith winning the Club-only competition. |
The February meeting was held at Dilworth
Neighborhood Grille and had near 80 people attending. All VP's
talked of the happenings of club activities now and in the near
future. Wayne Smith won the Clu-only competition with an excellent
Best Bitter.

Rob started brewing around 1993 and when asked what got you into
brewing, he replied BEER ! Ok, Homer. He went to a liquor store and they
had a beer kit and this got him started in brewing. Steve Gilbert
brought Rob to a CBM meeting last January and he joined and has been
active ever since. His favorite style to brew is Stouts and his favorite
commercial beer is Sierra Nevada Torpedo and he added "at the moment,
this is my favorite beer". |
Steven got into brewing in the winter 2007
and when asked what got you into brewing ? He replied "The Joy of Beer".
He met Brian Beauchemin at a tour at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery and was
told about the Carolina Brewmasters so he is attending his first meeting
where he joined. His favorite style to brew is a brown ale and his
favorite commercial beer is a Guiness. Welcome
